Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Batchforja is built by a maker, for makers. We take your privacy seriously and will never sell your data or use it for anything other than providing and improving the product. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

Who we are

Batchforja is an early-stage SaaS product operated by Elise Hammond, based in the United States. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@batchforja.com.

What we collect

Batchforja is live now, in free pilot testing. When you create an account, we collect:

  • Account data: your name, email address, and password
  • Business data: materials, products, recipes, components, production runs, orders, purchase history, and inventory levels that you enter into the system
  • Channel connection data: API credentials and tokens for the sales channels you connect (Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
  • Usage data: how you use the product, which features you use, and when; used to improve the product

If you use a free tool (like the pricing calculator or MoCRA compliance checklist) or sign up for updates without creating an account, we collect your email address and any optional details you provide, so we can send you the results or updates you requested. We do not share it with anyone.

Third-party integrations (Etsy, Shopify, and others)

When you connect a sales channel such as Etsy to Batchforja, we access your shop data via that platform's official API using OAuth authentication. For Etsy specifically, we access:

  • Your open and completed orders, to generate production run suggestions
  • Your listing inventory quantities, to update stock levels when a production run is marked complete
  • Your shop and listing details, to display your products within Batchforja

We do not process payments, issue refunds, contact your buyers, or take any action on your shop outside of the specific functions described above. We do not redirect buyers away from Etsy or any other platform.

Your API tokens and credentials are stored securely and are only used to perform actions you have explicitly authorised within Batchforja. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting your shop from within the app or by revoking access directly in your Etsy account settings.

We do not share your sales channel data with any third party and do not use it for advertising or any purpose outside of providing the Batchforja service.

How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the Batchforja service
  • To contact you about your account and product updates
  • To understand how people use the product so we can make it better

We will never sell your data to third parties. We will never use your business data for advertising. Your data is yours.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. We use Supabase for our database infrastructure, which provides encryption at rest and in transit.

We will never access your business data except to provide the service or to resolve a support issue you've raised with us.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Correct any inaccurate information we hold
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@batchforja.com. We will respond within 7 days.

Cookies

The Batchforja landing page uses minimal cookies — only what is necessary for the page to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the product evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
